Harmar Days Festival returns Friday, with fun for the whole family to fill the final weekend in July once again as the Historic Harmar Bridge Company’s annual fundraising event kicks off on Harmar Stage at 6 p.m., then hits full swing Saturday and draws the winning tickets for the 2022 Raffle Grand Prize Toyota 4Runner Sunday at 2 p.m.

“We can’t wait to kick off this weekend celebrating the hard work of not only the board but the whole community who have supported the tremendous progress we have achieved in the last year,” says Chairman of the Board Larry Sloter. “This event takes countless hours to put together with an all-volunteer festival committee supported by so many in our community. We can’t thank enough those who have stepped up for the time and contributions each have made to the growing successes of our organization.”

Friday, Sloter will open the festival with updates on where the nonprofit moves next in its mission to restore and renovation the Historic Harmar Bridge followed by the traditional bag pipes launching a music-filled evening in the expanded Beer Garden and surrounded by food trucks from Moore’s Concessions, Harmar Village Catering, The Wonky Donkey, Uncle Dan’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream and Kona Ice.

“Music for the whole weekend will provide variety and fun for all tastes,” shares Festival Chairwoman Allie Schultheis. “We have focused efforts on supporting local bands, up-and-coming talent and of course Saturday, our young artists building their repertoire from dance to our high school power hour with both Vocal Point and High Schools that Rock.”
