The piers are sound. Thanks to the grassroots fundraising of 2020 and 2021, the underwater and superstructure inspection is complete. More work and fundraising to be done before bridge can reopen.

Harmar Days Returns, Harmar Summer Raffle Announced
The Historic Harmar Bridge Company announced the return of the annual Harmar Days festival on Friday, July 30 through Sunday, August 1st in Harmar Village. In addition to the festival’s return, the nonprofit is hosting a Summer Raffle featuring an array of valuable prizes, including a 2021 Toyota Tacoma truck.

Bridge Turning Scheduled for March 1st
On Sunday March 1st at 11 a.m. the Historic Harmar Bridge will be turned and officially close until funds are raised to restore the Harmar Bridge through our Save Harmar Bridge campaign.
Historic Harmar Bridge Will Close to Pedestrian Traffic
On Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 the Historic Harmar Bridge Company unanimously passed a resolution to close the Harmar Bridge to pedestrian traffic until the structure has been fully restored.
