2024 Harmar Days Festival & Raffle Plans
July 18th 2024
The Historic Harmar Bridge Company will be hosting their annual community celebration and fundraiser starting Friday, July 26th and carrying on through Saturday, July 27th and concluding Sunday, July 28th. Key highlights include: 10 food trucks, a cruise in, 13 local area bands, more than 20 craft vendors and artists and an ever expanding kids zone located directly next to the adult beer garden! The cruise in, music and kids area are all free to spectactors.
The Harmar Days Festival has been an annual tradition in the heart of Harmar Village on Marietta’s West Side dating back to when the B&O Railroad Company still owned the Harmar Bridge back in the 80’s. And while the event has grown and changed over the years, it has always remained the main fundraising source of operations for the Bridge Company. The HHBC uses funds raised over the festival weekend to maintain and upkeep the rail cars and surrounding parks as well as apply for grants and inspections in order to rehabilitate the Harmar Bridge.
Along with the three days festival, the annual raffle drawing is also held on the final day of the festival weekend. This year’s prizes include: a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, a Zero Turn Bad Boy Mower, a CForce 400 ATV, Peoples Bank Theatre concert tickets, downtown shopping and restaurant packages and even a grill gazebo. The ticket cost is $100 and all entrants will be eligible to win one of the smaller raffle baskets as well as one of the top three grand prizes. Tickets can be purchased online at: https://saveharmarbridge.rallyup.com/hdf2024 or in person at the Harmar Days Festival. Winner need not be present to win.
The Annual Harmar Days Festival is always held the last weekend in July.
