First Ever HHBC Board Retreat Held

On this International Day of Love, we wanted to take a minute to shoutout the HHBC Board of Directors for all of their tireless work and dedication to our cause and one true love, The Harmar Bridge.

This steadfast group of volunteers gathered together for a board retreat on Saturday, February 1st in the McDonough Leadership Building to spend an entire day together planning, building and having fun as a board. Lead by Building Bridges 2 Careers, they worked on:

- one, three and five year goals

- building a solid mission statement

- solidifying the duties and goals for each of their 6 working committees

- discussion around responsibilties and legal duties as a Nonprofit Board

- supporting their Executive Director

- and building team morale

It was an incredible day full of fun, laughter, passion, coffee and getting to know one another better. We have so much happening in the Heart of Harmar Village and we hope you'll stick with us for the journey. Many announcements and projects are coming soon…
